Everyone is deserving
of realizing
their
true potential.
ADULTS
Your journey as an adult is a never-ending obstacle course where countless concerns can impact your mental health, limiting your ability to thrive. Perhaps you’re experiencing a lack of motivation, feelings of isolation, difficulty with relationships, work/life imbalances, persistent mood swings or possibly turning to drugs or alcohol as a way to deal with life’s obstacles.
We’ll use a variety of techniques, including talk therapy (cognitive behavioral therapy), personal strength-building therapy (dialectical behavioral therapy), and mindfulness training to develop your mental health muscles. Our sessions will be a safe place for us to explore your emotions, conflicts, and actions to discover and encourage your authentic self to take center stage.
YOUNG ADULTS
The transition from adolescence to adulthood brings forth new challenges today. “Adulting” is far more complex than just performing basic adult responsibilities. Real adulting is about navigating the complexities of entering the workforce, gaining financial independence, separating from parental dependence, dating, and relationships, developing and maintaining self-confidence, and so much more. Depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and substance abuse concerns are common during this life stage.
Being the mother of two young adults, I understand these challenges deeply and personally. Together, we will identify your emotions, isolate your behaviors, and build upon your existing strengths to help you actualize your potential as an adult.
OLDER TEENS
Being a teenager is difficult. It’s normal to worry, feel stress, be anxious, and struggle with self-esteem issues. It’s also normal to talk with a therapist about these challenges. As a teenager, you feel the pressures of being liked, doing well in school, gaining self-confidence, getting along with your family, and more. Plus, there is the social pressure to balance living your life online and in real life.
My two children grew up in today’s digital world, and I experienced first-hand this balancing act teenagers are forced to deal with daily. Our conversations will focus on YOU, and together, we’ll reframe your challenges into opportunities and develop the skills and confidence to allow the true YOU to flourish.
